Tom Tiding – Comedian and author / Michael Sharmon – Hamlet / Casey Lau – Social Innovation Camp
Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. After 10 today we meet Tom Tiding, who is Washington, DC and Hong Kong-based comedian and author. He's organising the upcoming, StoryWorthyWeek. It's a new arts festival that believes that everyone in Hong Kong has a story to tell. The festival, running from 6-14 September, and features local and overseas performers sharing their best stories—hilarious, touching, and even a little absurd. At 11.10 the Prince of Denmark visits MB! Shakespeare-style, of course. We'll chat with Michael Sharmon and Shiona Carson who are starring in and directing (respectively!) a brand new production of Hamlet. After 12, today, we hear about Hong Kong's first Social Innovation Camp, which brings together software developers and designers with people who understand a social problem, to help build web and mobile solutions to social challenges. Organiser Casey Lau will tell us more. (firstname.lastname@example.org, , 9.00am-1pm)
